Arc explosion

Industry discussion in North America is increasingly focused on the effects of an arcing fault in electrical equipment. Despite the fact that one of the key reasons for electrical equipment and design/codes is protecting the public from the detrimental effects of electrical energy, there is currently no critical consideration given in the design of steel enclosures.
